From The Architect's Desk
Ritesh Kumar is an architect and the Principal Architect at K & S DesignLab, where he leads the studio’s architectural vision and the design and delivery of its major projects.
A graduate of BIT Mesra, Ritesh began his professional journey in Delhi before establishing R & A Designs in 2013. He later moved his practice to Jharkhand, where it evolved into K & S DesignLab – a multidisciplinary architecture and design studio working across residential, institutional, educational and spiritual projects.
Neha Singh is the Co-Founder and Design Principal of K & S DesignLab, where she leads the studio’s design direction, interiors, landscape and visual communication.
A post graduate in Planning from BIT Mesra, Ranchi, Neha began her architectural journey in 2007. Over the years, she has developed a multidisciplinary design approach spanning architecture, interior design and landscape, Planning with experience across corporate, residential, educational and institutional environments.
Climate and Sustainable Design
At KNS DesignLab, we approach sustainability as an integral part of the design process rather than an added feature. Our architecture responds to local climate, site conditions, orientation, natural light, ventilation, and material choices to create comfortable and resource-efficient spaces. By working with the environment, rather than against it, we seek to reduce energy consumption while enhancing the everyday experience of the people who use our spaces.
